The Seahawks now officially control their own destiny, not just for the NFC West, but to earn the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoffs. Imagine, the road to the Super Bowl could very well travel through the Emerald City for the fourth time ever.
This is the first meeting for the Rams and the Cardinals this season, as the two clubs will meet again in the regular-season finale. Los Angeles and Arizona split the season series in 2024, with the Cardinals earning a dominant 41-10 victory at home last year.
Seattle’s rally from a 30-14 deficit started with a 58-yard, touchdown punt return by wide receiver Rashid Shaheed, followed by a Sam Darnold-to-Cooper Kupp 2-point pass with 8:03 left in the fourth quarter. Darnold got the Seahawks within two with a 26-yard touchdown pass to tight end AJ Barner 1:40 later.
