"If I could give Summit Mall Apple and Verizon negative stars for the repair process, I would. If you have a VERIZON service and an\n IPHONE 17 "DO NOT GET REPAIRS" at the Summit Mall Apple. You will find yourself wasting and spending hours of time after the repairs and toggling through both Verizon and Apple Care Support phone lines, as well as (stores) to get a repair done/completed, and then have to reactivate the service on your account as if it never existed due to the repair. There is some problem between these two companies and Apple doing repairs on the devices, resetting your account in my case to the point that my Verizon service needed to be reactivated. Apple deactivates the Verizon service when doing the repair (they did not explain this well at all upon onset of the repair) or pick-up, I found out the hard way. Next time (Apple), instead of trying to do a repair and essentially making the phone a rebuilt/refurbished phone through Apple care- how about Apple just issue a new phone under Apple care instead of playing repairman while deactivating my Verizon service. Once you do get in the phone, expect it will be set back to the original settings. My Apple watch didn't sync or work as well-as its paired with the phone they deactivated. And my contacts were completely gone. Bottom line: Verizon does not want Apple doing repairs on these phones if you have service through Verizon or the service wouldn't be deactivated and the phone would be functional with SERVICE upon pick-up after the repair at the "Genius Bar" in Apple. And the Genius bar will act like its all rainbows and butterflies when you leave. You will jump through hoops to get your phone reactivated with service. Brace yourself for a lot of conversation, frustration and being told at Verizon at one point you may have to wait 48 hours plus (meaning no SERVICE) and go through the account recovery process. Horrible experience - I will never do it again. The Genius Bar is not set up to do the repairs correctly without Verizon on a Verizon Service Plan. Apple does not have access to re-activate your service on your phone after they de-activate the service for the repair. They should not be replacing mother boards, batteries and de-activating phones if they can't finish the job upon pick-up. End Point: Proceed with caution or NOT AT ALL, get ready to talk to A.I. and/or toggle customer service lines- be prepared for trouble after repairs here if you have Verizon!"
